One good way to take some of the pressure off of yourself is by involving other team members. Not only will it make you more comfortable, but it’ll actually allow the interview to move along at a faster pace.
It can be tough to get a sense of a candidate’s qualifications during a one-on-one interview. With more people there, you’ll have more questions and more observation on the answers.
Screen Well
Something that gets overlooked in the “interview process” is the way you actually screen candidates. Whether you’re using a hiring website or you put out an ad in the paper, make sure you do most of the searching before you actually hold interviews.
